Brent Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Georgia.

PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE
Brent Brown worked for former United States Senator Paul Coverdell in Washington and for Guy Millner during his campaign for Governor in 1998. In 2002, Brent ran for the Republican nomination for Labor Commissioner and received 190,330 votes (48%). This year, Brent won the Republican Primary with 225,286 votes (70.3%).

PRIVATE SECTOR EXPERIENCE
Brent Brown worked for The Coca-Cola Company and has served as Vice President of Operations for eAttorney, Inc., and President of Landmark Publishing Corporation. In 2003 Brent joined RMA as Director of its Government Division.

FAMILY BACKGROUND
Brent Brown, born and raised in Atlanta, descends from a long line of Georgians.

He is the oldest son of Carey and Sally Brown. Carey Brown graduated from Oglethorpe County High School in Lexington, Georgia and later graduated from Georgia Tech.

Brent’s grandfather, Reverend Walter A. Brown, is from Tennille, Georgia. After serving several churches throughout the state, he retired from Mount Zion Baptist Church in Macon.


Brent’s wife Pamela Gadams Brown was born in Macon, Georgia and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Pam graduated from Villanova University and works as a Senior Account Manager for an internet security company. Brent and Pam attend the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta.

Brent’s sister, Natalie, is married to Walker Houk and lives in Atlanta. They have two children, Sally Ann and Wiley.

Brent’s brother, LT Tyler Hall Brown, received his degree from Georgia Tech and became a US Army Airborne Ranger. On September 14, 2004 Tyler was killed proudly fighting for his country in Iraq. Tyler was laid to rest with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery. He received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He also received special recognition from the "Old Guard" where he had been selected to continue his military career.
